Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Shipping Operations Executive to manage and optimize our end-to-end shipping processes. This crucial role requires an experienced individual with hands-on knowledge of UAE shipping documentation, international logistics regulations, and LC (Letter of Credit) procedures. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, manages high volumes efficiently, and is adept at leading a shipping operations team.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the daily shipping operations to ensure timely and accurate global deliveries.

Act as the single point of contact for all shipping-related matters for the Sales Team and Management.

Handle complete documentation formalities for shipping within UAE regulations, including customs, duties, and compliance.

Manage and supervise the shipping team to ensure smooth coordination and execution.

Oversee the opening and processing of Letters of Credit (LC) and all related documentation.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with shipping carriers, freight forwarders, and suppliers to negotiate competitive rates.

Monitor shipment progress, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely updates to customers and internal teams.

Maintain accurate shipping records, documentation, invoices, and receipts.

Continuously identify opportunities for operational improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Address and resolve customer complaints or inquiries related to shipping promptly.

Stay updated on international trade regulations and best practices to ensure full compliance.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in shipping operations, preferably within the e-commerce or trading industries.

Strong expertise in UAE shipping documentation formalities and international customs regulations.

Mandatory experience in LC (Letter of Credit) processing and documentation.

Proven ability to lead and manage a shipping team independently.

Familiarity with shipping software platforms and tools like UPS, DHL, FedEx systems.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data reporting tools.

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and perform under tight deadlines and high-pressure environments.
