G42, a leading Abu Dhabi-based artificial intelligence and cloud computing company, is looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Senior Specialist in Financial Reporting to join our growing Finance team. This role involves assisting in financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, conducting financial analysis, and supporting system improvements. The successful candidate will contribute to key financial operations and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

• Assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.

• Consolidate financial data from multiple entities or subsidiaries.

• Analyze financial statements to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.

• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders.

Compliance and Regulations:

• Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and reporting requirements, including SCA reporting for publicly traded companies.

• Assist in the preparation and filing of financial reports, including annual reports, quarterly reports, and tax filings.

• Work closely with auditors during external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Financial Analysis:

• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.

• Contribute to the identification of key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess financial performance.

• Generate insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support business objectives.

System and Process Improvements:

• Assist in evaluating and implementing financial reporting systems or software to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting standards.
