Job Overview:
KEO is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Dubai. In this role, you will provide technical expertise and on-site supervision for all mechanical engineering aspects of residential and commercial projects, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design, review, and implementation of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and related installations.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable mechanical codes, standards, and safety regulations.

  • Coordinate with national utility providers for timely connections (water, gas, district cooling, etc.).

  • Review and approve shop drawings and material submittals to ensure alignment with project specifications.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to approved plans and schedules.

  • Inspect and test mechanical installations at various construction stages to maintain quality standards.

  • Identify, investigate, and resolve any mechanical-related issues or defects, coordinating with contractors to implement corrective actions.

  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and non-conformances for project tracking and quality control.

  • Enforce mechanical safety protocols on-site through inspections and hazard mitigation.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team, including resolving design conflicts and interpreting mechanical drawings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in mechanical engineering within construction projects.

  • Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and mechanical systems.

  • Excellent problem-solving, technical, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
