The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is seeking a highly experienced Manager – Traffic Signage and Addressing exclusively for UAE Nationals. This leadership role focuses on the development, review, and implementation of technical designs for traffic signs, directional signage, and pavement markings. The aim is to improve transportation integration, accessibility, and compliance with RTA’s standards and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and review of technical designs for traffic signage, billboard locations, and pavement markings.

• Ensure all traffic control measures meet RTA guidelines, technical specifications, and international best practices.

• Manage projects and studies related to traffic control, signage systems, and addressing systems from start to finish.

• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders including government and commercial sectors.

• Design and update policies, technical guides, and action plans for transportation control and wayfinding systems.

• Monitor performance through KPIs and implement continuous improvements.

• Ensure compliance with traffic control policies and regulatory standards.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, City Design, or Urban Design with 11+ years of relevant experience.

• Master’s Degree preferred with 9+ years of experience.

Skills & Competencies:

• Expertise in urban planning and traffic management related to signage and road marking standards.

• Strong knowledge of traffic impact studies, signage regulations, and urban design principles.

• Proficiency in technical guidelines for road and traffic signs, addressing systems, and traffic control standards.

• Data-driven approach to decision-making with advanced analytical skills.
