Job Overview
We are seeking a talented Commis Chef – Pastry & Bakery who is passionate about desserts and baking. If you enjoy working with fine ingredients, experimenting with new techniques, and being part of a dynamic culinary team, this opportunity is for you.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of all pastry and bakery items, ensuring quality and consistency

Follow recipes and instructions provided by senior chefs

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the pastry and bakery section

Ensure proper food storage and labeling according to HACCP standards

Support daily mise en place and inventory checks

Collaborate with team members and assist in other culinary areas when required

Stay current with trends in pastries and demonstrate eagerness to learn
Qualifications

Previous experience or internship in a pastry or bakery kitchen (hotel/restaurant preferred)

Culinary certification or equivalent is an advantage

Basic knowledge of dessert preparation, baking, and plating

Strong teamwork and time-management skills

Ability to work under pressure and flexible with working hours, including weekends and holidays
