Position: Chemical & Petrochemical Sales and Trading Executive

Overview:
PETCHEM DMCC is seeking a skilled and dynamic Chemical & Petrochemical Sales and Trading Executive to drive our physical trading and distribution activities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in petrochemical sales, inventory and commercial operations, and a deep understanding of regional and international markets.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and grow a profitable trading book with clear strategic focus and risk management.

Develop and execute trading strategies based on market trends and demand forecasts.

Identify and pursue new trading opportunities and partnerships for business development.

Administer internal procurement systems and oversee logistics operations.

Maintain accurate inventory records and track surplus or residual materials.

Research and onboard new suppliers aligned with company objectives.

Monitor order status throughout the supply cycle to ensure timely delivery.

Analyze market data, trends, and product demands for actionable insights.

Coordinate closely with logistics and operations for seamless trade execution.

Prepare detailed market reports (daily, weekly, monthly) for internal use.

Assist derivatives and physical traders through detailed market research and analytics.

Drive regional business expansion across MENA by initiating and leading trading activities.

Negotiate sales contracts, pricing, and terms with clients and suppliers.

Deliver tailored product presentations and build strong client relationships.

Stay informed on global supply chain, shipping, refinery output, and trade finance practices.
Candidate Profile:

3–5 years of experience in petrochemical product trading and distribution.

Strong commercial and operational background with proven sales results.

High analytical skills: ability to interpret data, trends, and graphs.

Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.

Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
-
Fluent in English (spoken and written); Arabic proficiency is an advantage.

In-depth understanding of chemical and petrochemical products and markets.

BS/BA degree in Chemistry or a related field preferred, but not required.
-
Must be currently residing in the UAE.
