Role Overview:

A leading restaurant in Dubai is seeking a talented Bar Manager to lead bar operations, enhance the customer experience, and drive beverage sales. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing a team, developing beverage menus, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Bar Operations Management:
    Oversee the daily running of the bar, including drink preparation, bar setup, cleanliness, and closing procedures.

  • Staff Management:
    Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise bartenders and barbacks to ensure efficient and high-quality service at all times.

  • Beverage Menu Development:
    Create and update the beverage menu, including cocktails, mocktails, and seasonal specials based on customer preferences and current trends.

  • Customer Engagement:
    Interact with guests, handle special requests and complaints, and ensure a positive and memorable bar experience.

  • Inventory Control:
    Monitor stock levels, manage orders, and conduct regular inventory checks to minimize wastage or theft.

  • Cost Control:
    Manage beverage costs, pricing strategies, and monitor profit margins while ensuring quality standards are met.

  • Regulatory Compliance:
    Ensure all bar operations comply with hygiene, licensing, safety, and health regulations, including responsible alcohol service.

  • Sales & Promotions:
    Plan and execute promotions, happy hours, and events in collaboration with the marketing team to increase footfall and revenue.

  • Reporting:
    Maintain sales, inventory, and staff performance records. Submit regular reports to management.


Candidate Requirements:

  • Education:
    Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Bartending, or a related field.

  • Experience:
    4–6 years in bar operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

  • Skills:

  • Expertise in spirits, wines, beers, and modern mixology techniques.

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

  • Proficient in POS systems and basic MS Office tools.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

  • Organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Location:
    Candidates must be based in UAE.
