Ray Aviation Holding is expanding its legal team in Dubai and is seeking a skilled Aviation Lawyer to provide expert legal support across charter, cargo, and scheduled commercial aviation operations. This role involves handling high-value transactions, advising on regulatory frameworks, and negotiating complex cross-border contracts. You will work closely with senior management and global stakeholders, making it an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute legal professional with aviation expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate aviation-related agreements, including aircraft sale & purchase, finance and operating leases, ACMI/wet leases, and MRO/PBH contracts.

• Advise on UAE GCAA Civil Aviation Regulations (CARs), international aviation conventions (Montreal 1999, Cape Town), and related regulatory matters.

• Support AOC applications, amendments, and traffic rights processes, aligning with business and operational needs.

• Manage aviation insurance portfolios, including hull, liability, war risk, and AVN clauses.

• Provide legal guidance on commercial disputes and arbitration under DIFC/ADGM frameworks.

• Implement governance frameworks, compliance monitoring (AML, sanctions, data protection), and in-house training.

Skills & Qualifications Required:

• LLB/LLM from a recognized institution; admitted/eligible to practice in a common-law jurisdiction.

• 2–5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in aviation, asset finance, or transportation law (law firm, airline, lessor, OEM, or MRO).

• Proven expertise in aviation contract drafting and negotiation.

• Strong knowledge of UAE/GCC aviation regulatory frameworks.

• Preferred experience with AOC processes, aviation finance/security documentation, and DIFC/ADGM dispute resolution.

• Strong commercial awareness, detail-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced, international work environment.
