About the Role
Futureway Technical Services LLC is looking for a motivated Junior Estimation & Design Engineer to support our growing smart automation and electrical systems division. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing cost estimates, supporting system design, and assisting with technical proposals to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for smart automation and electrical projects, including materials, labor, and related expenses.

• Assist in drafting proposals, technical documentation, and quotations for clients.

• Develop and maintain Bills of Quantities (BOQ) with material specifications.

• Provide design support for parking, security, and automation systems using AutoCAD.

• Offer technical assistance to sales and project teams during the pre-sales and estimation stages.

• Collaborate with sales, procurement, and project teams to ensure smooth execution.

• Maintain well-documented records of estimates, proposals, and project data.

• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams in English.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.

• Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong analytical and communication skills.

• Prior experience in estimation, design, or cost management in a construction/engineering environment is preferred.

• UAE driving license is an advantage.

Preferred Knowledge (Not Mandatory):

• Basic understanding of smart home automation systems (e.g., Zigbee, Z-Wave, KNX).

• Familiarity with smart home ecosystems (e.g., Home Assistant, Control4).
