LVMH Fashion Group Middle East is looking for an accomplished Accounting & Tax Manager to oversee the accounting function in the Dubai head office. The ideal candidate will manage daily operations, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, while also handling tax-related matters. The role requires strong leadership, a proactive approach, and the ability to manage a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting Management: Oversee daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate ledger data and monthly financial statements.

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly P&L and Balance Sheet reports. Ensure alignment with IFRS and local financial legislation.

• Audit Coordination: Coordinate annual audits and ensure timely completion of major projects, month-end, and year-end reports.

• Tax Management: Manage the preparation and filing of tax returns, income tax, and withholding tax, ensuring timely compliance.

• Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and uniformity between brands.

• Compliance: Ensure robust control environment and assist the controlling team with compliance requirements and special tax-related projects.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum 10 years of management and accounting experience, ideally within the retail sector.

• Skills:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills (at least 5 years in a team leadership role).

  • Excellent understanding of accounting, finance, and management principles.

  • Proficiency in bookkeeping software and MS Office.

  • High attention to detail and ability to analyze large datasets.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
