EnerMech, a global leader in integrated specialist engineering services, is seeking a qualified and experienced Rigging Foreman for offshore operations. This role involves leading rigging teams, ensuring safe lifting operations, and supporting maintenance and deck activities in compliance with client and international safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate vessel and platform lifts with riggers under supervision of the Crane Supervisor or client.

• Supervise and ensure rigging teams are trained, certified, and follow safety protocols.

• Manage and inspect client-supplied loose lifting equipment and rigging loft procedures.

• Prepare lifting plans and perform risk assessments for routine and simple non-routine operations.

• Maintain accurate records: lifting equipment inventory, test certificates, loss/damage reports, and usage logs.

• Carry out minor repairs, pre-use inspections, and banking/signalman duties.

• Support crane operators with lubrication, routine maintenance, and keeping equipment clean and safe.

• Participate in emergency and fire standby duties on the platform as required.

• Contribute to shutdowns and major maintenance campaigns in coordination with project engineers.

Required Skills:

• Strong command of English (read and write fluently).

• LEEA-UK Entry Exam and 2-day Rigging Foreman course certification.

• Level 3 Rigging Competency certification.

• Familiarity with lifting standards, international engineering codes, and safety compliance.

• Ability to write lifting plans and supervise critical offshore lifting operations.

• Capable of acting as Appointed Person for lifting operations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of offshore/onshore lifting experience, with at least 3 years in a similar leadership role.

• Trained and experienced in crane operation support, lifting equipment inspection, and documentation.
