About the Role:
Connected Technical Furniture (CTF) is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee and coordinate daily manufacturing operations. Managing a team of 60+ employees, you will ensure production runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently while meeting quality standards and client requirements. The role demands strong leadership, technical expertise in sheet metal fabrication, and the ability to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervision & Coordination

• Lead and allocate tasks to technicians, workers, and subcontractors.

• Monitor daily activities to ensure compliance with schedules and work instructions.

• Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and materials.

2. Work Planning & Execution

• Review job orders, engineering drawings, and fabrication specifications.

• Prepare and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.

• Provide technical guidance to fabricators, welders, and operators.

• Oversee manpower allocation, overtime planning, and workflow optimization.

• Troubleshoot fabrication or machinery issues to minimize downtime.

3. Quality & Safety

• Ensure compliance with company quality standards, ISO procedures, and HSE regulations.

• Monitor production defects and implement corrective actions.

• Conduct safety briefings and enforce workplace safety policies.

• Schedule preventive maintenance and maintain records of machine performance.

4. Workforce Management

• Track attendance, productivity, and team performance.

• Provide training, mentoring, and skill development for workers.

• Support onboarding of new employees and maintain high team morale.

5. Logistics & Reporting

• Coordinate with procurement for timely delivery of materials and consumables.

• Maintain accurate records of work progress, inspections, and handovers.

• Prepare daily and weekly reports on manpower utilization and production updates.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma/Technical Certificate in Engineering, Construction, or Production (preferred).

• Minimum 5 years’ supervisory experience in sheet metal fabrication.

• Strong knowledge of production processes, materials, and tools.

• Familiarity with ISO quality standards and HSE protocols.

• Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu is an advantage.
