Role Overview
As an Associate Demand Planner, you will play a pivotal role in creating accurate sales forecasts, demand plans, and inventory optimization strategies. This role requires strong analytical skills, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the ability to align demand planning with business objectives across multiple markets and channels.
Key Responsibilities
Forecasting & Planning

Own and manage rolling sales forecasts by analyzing historical data, promotions, and product information.

Build unconstrained demand plans at the brand, channel, and country level.

Align demand forecasts with market trends, product launches, and key accounts’ sell-out forecasts.
Inventory & Supply Alignment

Partner with Supply Planning Managers to ensure optimal stock models.

Develop and manage markdown and liquidation plans to reduce excess inventory.

Provide visibility to stakeholders with reports on critical bottlenecks, risks, and forecast changes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with category managers, store networks, and B2B clients to align forecasts with sales strategies.

Support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process with accurate demand inputs.

Collaborate with B2B accounts to enhance joint planning and forecasting.
Performance & Reporting

Monitor forecast accuracy KPIs and implement corrective actions where needed.

Provide advanced reporting and insights to senior management.

Explore new forecasting tools, techniques, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.

2+ years’ experience in demand planning, preferably in retail, beauty, or FMCG.

Hands-on knowledge of demand forecasting tools (e.g., Blue Yonder or similar).

Strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to manage large datasets.

Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
