Diamond Claw Veterinary Clinic is a well-established veterinary practice in Sharjah, dedicated to providing high-quality medical care to animals. They are currently seeking a Veterinary Nurse with a passion for animal welfare and experience in clinical settings.

Job Role:
As a Veterinary Nurse, you will support veterinarians in delivering care to animals, assisting during surgeries, and educating pet owners. This role demands compassion, strong technical knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct health screenings and collect diagnostic samples.

• Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.

• Administer medications and prescribed treatments.

• Provide post-operative care and monitor patient recovery.

• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, biosecure environment.

• Calm and comfort animals during distress.

• Educate pet owners on care routines and health procedures.

• Manage clinical rounds, record updates, and communicate pet progress to clients.

• Monitor and manage stock and inventory levels.

Requirements:

• Degree in Veterinary Nursing or related field.

• Minimum 3–4 years of veterinary experience (UAE experience preferred).

• Knowledge of pharmacology, anesthesia, surgical protocols, and animal care.

• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.

• Compassionate with excellent communication skills.

• Prior experience in animal welfare or advocacy is a plus.

• Familiarity with quarantine and isolation procedures.
