Allocation Assist Middle East is currently recruiting a Specialist NICU on behalf of a premier medical facility in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity ideal for a compassionate and experienced neonatologist who is committed to delivering world-class care to critically ill newborns. The role involves working in a cutting-edge Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), where you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the health and recovery of premature and sick infants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized medical care to critically ill newborns in the NICU.

  • Manage ventilation and monitor vital signs of premature and high-risk infants.

  • Administer treatments and medications in line with medical protocols.

  • Communicate with families to update them on their baby’s progress and condition.

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan and implement individualized care strategies.

  • Participate in the development and implementation of NICU clinical best practices.

  • Train and supervise junior medical staff and nursing personnel.

  • Ensure strict compliance with infection control and patient safety guidelines.

  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records and patient documentation.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Medical degree from a recognized and accredited institution.

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a NICU environment, including experience with neonatal ventilation.

  • Advanced knowledge of neonatal medicine, equipment, and emergency care protocols.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration and family support.

  • Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic and fast-paced clinical setting.

  • Deep commitment to the highest standards of patient care and safety.

  • Candidates must have Western education or training.
