Job Description:

In this specialist role, you will coordinate and process documentation for the seamless import and export of shipments, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency. You’ll play a key role in upholding Chalhoub’s commitment to excellence, sustainability, and innovation in luxury retail operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end shipping operations for imports and/or exports, ensuring compliance with customs and state regulations

• Prepare and process all required shipment documentation

• Verify freight forwarder invoices against contracted rates

• Ensure all shipments are properly insured and handle any claims until resolution

• Accurately record shipment data and performance metrics in internal systems

• Identify and report any breaches of Chalhoub’s Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental or Security procedures (ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001)

• Maintain consistent service delivery in line with defined processes and timelines

Requirements:

• Proven expertise in import/export operations, documentation, and compliance

• Attention to detail with strong organizational skills

• Experience with insurance and freight invoice verification processes

• Ability to work under regulatory frameworks and maintain accurate records
