Job Summary

As a Senior Policy Advisor, you will play a strategic role in guiding PAY10’s global expansion by overseeing licensing strategies, crafting policy frameworks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence PAY10’s entry into new markets and regulatory environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Licensing Strategy: Advise the Global Expansion team on regulatory requirements for market entry across jurisdictions

• Policy Development: Draft and maintain internal policies covering compliance, risk, operations, and financial services

• Regulatory Intelligence: Track global regulatory trends impacting e-money institutions and payment service providers

• Cross-Functional Support: Provide policy and legal guidance to internal departments including legal, operations, and compliance

• Documentation: Prepare clear, compliant documentation for internal use and regulatory submissions

• Governance: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of governance frameworks aligned with global best practices

Preferred Experience

• Background with financial regulators or legal/policy advisory roles in fintech or financial institutions

• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and licensing in Europe, MENA, GCC, APAC, or LATAM regions

• Familiarity with global compliance standards such as AML, EMD2, PSD2, GDPR, etc.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Public Policy, Economics, International Relations, or a related field

• 7–10 years of experience in financial regulation, legal advisory, or policy development

• Proven expertise in fintech regulatory environments and licensing for e-money/payment institutions

• Strong communication skills in English; multilingual skills are an asset

• Strategic thinker with analytical capabilities and adaptability in a high-growth setting
