Dubai Health Authority is hiring a Senior Administrator – Health Informatics to enhance health IT systems through expert integration, interoperability, and standardization. This full-time, on-site position plays a crucial role in advancing the UAE’s digital healthcare ecosystem by streamlining secure data exchange across platforms and modernizing legacy infrastructure.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Apply advanced knowledge of HIE, EMR/EHR, and practice management systems, ensuring seamless and secure data exchange.

• Support integration with external platforms using standards like HL7, CDA, and FHIR.

• Work with healthcare data standards: ICD-10, CPT, SNOMED, RxNorm.

• Use and support tools such as Rhapsody integration engine and Master Patient Index (MPI) systems.

• Participate in duplicate data minimization programs and report to the MPI Project Manager.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align solutions with operational needs.

• Contribute to digital transformation by modernizing legacy systems and implementing new healthcare IT technologies.

• Perform additional responsibilities in line with departmental goals and digital health objectives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Health Information Systems, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in healthcare IT or consulting, with preference for high-tech or healthcare sector background.

Skills & Competencies:

• Deep understanding of health informatics, HIE, EMR/EHR systems

• Proficient with HL7, CDA, FHIR standards

• Familiar with ICD-10, SNOMED, CPT, RxNorm coding

• Hands-on experience with integration engines (preferably Rhapsody)

• Excellent stakeholder coordination and reporting skills

• Strong knowledge of digital transformation practices in healthcare
