Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Engineer (Civil) with 4–5 years of UAE experience to join our construction team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of civil materials, vendor sourcing, and tender documentation. You’ll work closely with engineering, estimation, and project teams to manage procurement from inquiry to finalization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue detailed inquiry packages for suppliers and subcontractors

• Compile complete tender documents including BOQs, technical specifications, approved vendor lists, and scope details

• Coordinate with internal departments (estimation, engineering, site) to ensure accurate procurement documentation

• Source materials and subcontractors based on project timelines and technical requirements

• Manage RFIs/clarifications and evaluate impacts on scope, cost, and deadlines

• Review and analyze quotations to prepare technical and commercial comparison sheets

• Support negotiation and final selection of vendors/subcontractors

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory)

• 4–5 years of UAE experience in civil procurement within the construction industry

• Solid understanding of civil construction materials and BOQs

• Familiarity with MEP procurement (added advantage)

• Knowledge of UAE-based vendors, suppliers, and market pricing

• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) for documentation and comparison sheets

• Strong coordination, communication, and negotiation skills
