ENGIE Solutions Middle East is hiring an MEP Supervisor to manage day-to-day mechanical maintenance operations at one of its UAE project sites. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for experienced professionals with 5–7 years of relevant GCC experience and a strong understanding of international maintenance standards, team leadership, and safety compliance.
The MEP Supervisor will play a key role in overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance, coordinating teams, ensuring equipment reliability, and upholding safety and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Operations & Supervision:

Lead and supervise mechanical maintenance operations including repair, inspection, and improvement tasks

Coordinate preventive maintenance activities with operations and maintenance teams
-
Issue work orders and manage fault clearance effectively
-
Ensure availability and proper use of tools, testing equipment, and materials

Propose facility upgrades and plant availability enhancements
-
Contribute to commissioning new or modified facilities and train subordinate staff
Quality, Safety, Health & Environment (QSHE):
-
Enforce safety and fire safety protocols during all maintenance tasks
-
Regularly inspect work areas for mechanical or safety issues and report findings
-
Ensure proper handling of hazardous materials
-
Adhere to company’s quality systems and environmental guidelines
People Management:
-
Supervise and support subordinate personnel
-
Monitor team performance including attendance, output, and quality of work
-
Ensure training and adherence to company procedures and standards

Enforce compliance with working condition and time regulations
Skills Required:
-
Deep understanding of international mechanical maintenance standards
-
Strong knowledge in valve operations and heavy lifting procedures
-
Excellent decision-making, communication, and team leadership skills

Ability to manage under pressure, especially during breakdowns and shutdowns

Coordination across departments and effective relationship-building

Skilled in employee supervision, job planning, and performance monitoring

Safety certifications (e.g., confined space entry, high radiation exposure)
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Facility Management or related field
-
5–7 years of relevant experience in the GCC region
Other Requirements:

Strong planning, organizing, and prioritization abilities

Time management and coordination of team activities

Ability to make sound technical decisions and ensure task completion
