Position Overview:

As the JIFF Dubai Fuel Farm Manager, you will lead site operations at the JIFF fuel farm and hydrant system at Dubai International Airport. Representing Air bp as the Lead Participant in a Non-Operated Joint Venture (NOJV) with major aviation fuel providers, you will oversee all aspects of site performance, safety, compliance, and team leadership. This role is crucial in ensuring the continuous and safe supply of on-spec aviation fuel to one of the busiest airports in the world.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all JIFF fuel farm and hydrant operations in compliance with JIG standards, HSSE, and shareholder expectations

  • Collaborate with the JIFF Operations Management Committee (OMC) to meet operational targets outlined in the JIFF Integrated Management System (JIMS)

  • Maintain accurate jet fuel inventory, ensure adequate supply, and report any stock variations

  • Lead emergency response and operational issue resolution with OCTC and OMC

  • Drive HSSE management and cultivate a safety-first culture through training, reporting, and leadership engagement

  • Ensure security and regulatory compliance in accordance with local authority and OMC directives

  • Manage asset maintenance programs and ensure performance efficiency using internal and third-party resources

  • Oversee procurement, contract management, budgeting, and cost control for all JIFF operations

  • Ensure assurance and performance through regular audits, self-verification, and compliance monitoring

  • Lead a diverse, multi-company team to deliver on safety, efficiency, and strategic business objectives

  • Act as the primary liaison for sensitive communications with external stakeholders

  • Supervise execution of Capex and Opex projects including expansions, technical studies, and major maintenance


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in petroleum terminal operations, including at least 3 years in an independent site leadership role

  • Strong command of Microsoft Office and other digital tools

  • Proven analytical, critical thinking, and quantitative skills

  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams in high-stakes environments

  • Ability to write executive reports, manage multiple priorities, and handle complex projects in a dynamic setting
