We are seeking an experienced Interim Project Engineer to oversee the full lifecycle of hybrid solar-diesel power projects. This role includes comprehensive project planning, coordination, scheduling, budgeting, and on-site execution. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in renewable energy or infrastructure projects and strong leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams while maintaining quality, safety, and regulatory compliance in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project execution from planning through commissioning for hybrid solar-diesel power systems.

• Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and work breakdown structures.

• Coordinate activities across internal teams (engineering, procurement, assembly) and external contractors.

• Ensure timely sourcing, assembly, and deployment of hybrid energy units for remote/industrial sites.

• Monitor project progress, manage risks, implement mitigation plans, and control costs.

• Oversee quality assurance during assembly, testing, and commissioning.

• Ensure compliance with DEWA, ADDC, Freezone, and HSE regulations on all project sites.

• Manage documentation, prepare client reports, site handover packs, and vendor evaluations.

• Support technician training and provide technical guidance on system deployment and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Energy Engineering or related field.

• 4–8 years of project engineering experience, preferably in solar, energy, or infrastructure sectors.

• Direct experience with solar PV or hybrid energy systems is highly preferred.

• PMP certification is a plus but not mandatory.

• Proficient in MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD, and project management tools.

• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.

• Previous UAE work experience preferred but not required.
