Job Summary:

Join our team at InterContinental Residences Dubai Business Bay as an In-Room Dining Order Taker. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional guest experiences by managing room service orders with precision, efficiency, and a warm, customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take and confirm accurate food & beverage orders via phone or digital platforms

• Provide courteous and professional service tailored to guests’ preferences

• Ensure all special dietary requests are clearly communicated and fulfilled

• Relay orders to kitchen/bar and ensure timely preparation

• Coordinate delivery of items to rooms, ensuring accuracy and presentation

• Handle guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally

• Assist with payment processing when necessary

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining service area

• Comply with all health, hygiene, and safety standards

Qualifications & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality education is a plus

• Experience in hospitality or customer service preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus

• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task under pressure

• Familiarity with F&B items and ability to make recommendations

• Basic computer skills for order entry and POS

• Physically fit to stand, bend, and carry items for extended periods

• Willing to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
