DP World is seeking a Group System Administrator to manage and maintain its IT infrastructure, both on-premises and cloud-based. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in servers, networking, and enterprise applications, ensuring smooth and secure IT operations.
Responsibilities

Administer and monitor on-premises and cloud-based servers (Windows/Linux).

Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and user accounts.

Oversee network infrastructure including firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs.

Ensure security best practices, including patch management, backups, and disaster recovery.

Maintain hardware inventory and lifecycle management of IT assets.
-
Monitor system performance and perform tuning to maintain efficiency.

Install, configure, and support enterprise applications and services (e.g., Exchange, Microsoft 365, Azure, VMware).

Coordinate with vendors and service providers for issue resolution and procurement.
-
Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and document resolutions.
-
Create and maintain IT documentation (network diagrams, SOPs, configuration guides).
-
Assist with IT audits and compliance requirements (ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.).
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

3–5 years of proven experience in IT system administration or similar roles.

Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Microsoft 365, and networking protocols.

Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).

Familiarity with security tools (endpoint protection, SIEM, MFA, backup solutions).

Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Preferred Certifications: MCSA, MCSE, CompTIA Network+, Azure Administrator, RHCSA
Preferred Skills:

PowerShell or Bash scripting for automation.

Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, PRTG, SolarWinds, New Relic).

Understanding of ITIL framework and ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira).

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
