Schneider Electric is offering a high-impact opportunity for an experienced Penetration Tester to join its Global Internal Audit team in Dubai. This full-time, hybrid role is embedded within the company’s Third Line of Defense and plays a pivotal role in assessing cybersecurity controls across Schneider Electric’s global operations.

As a Penetration Tester, you will conduct advanced security assessments, simulate adversarial tactics, and contribute to executive-level reporting and strategic risk mitigation. You’ll collaborate with global audit teams, process owners, and technical experts to elevate internal control and cybersecurity resilience across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

🛡️ Cybersecurity Testing & Risk Assessment

• Plan and execute complex penetration tests across networks, applications, cloud environments, and ICS/OT systems.
• Simulate adversarial tactics (red teaming) to evaluate detection and response capabilities.
• Integrate technical findings into broader risk assessments in collaboration with audit teams.

📊 Reporting & Remediation

• Develop detailed technical reports and executive summaries for senior leadership and the Audit Committee.
• Validate remediation actions and provide assurance on control effectiveness.
• Support continuous improvement of cybersecurity audit methodologies and tooling.

🌐 Industry Awareness & Collaboration

• Stay informed on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and offensive security techniques.
• Work closely with global internal audit members and cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives and uphold Schneider Electric’s Trust Charter and ethical standards.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in penetration testing, red teaming, or offensive security.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, ISO 27001).
• Proficiency with tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Cobalt Strike, Kali Linux, and custom scripts.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and containerized environments.
• Familiarity with ICS/SCADA environments is a strong plus.
• Certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, CRTO, or equivalent highly desirable.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills and ability to translate technical findings into business impact.
• Ethical conduct and commitment to confidentiality.
• Willingness to travel globally up to 40% annually.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in corporate, consulting, or Big4 environments.
• Understanding of internal audit principles and the Three Lines Model.
• Strong public speaking ability.
• Additional language proficiency is a plus.
