Charterhouse is partnering with a leading Oil & Gas trading company expanding its footprint across the Middle East and Africa. We are seeking a diligent Compliance Officer to support client onboarding and regulatory adherence amid rapid business growth.

As a Compliance Officer, you will assist senior compliance professionals by conducting Know Your Customer (KYC) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) checks, collaborating closely with sales teams to ensure all new business complies with local UAE and international regulatory standards. You will also maintain ongoing relationship management with existing clients and banks across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough KYC and CDD reviews for client onboarding and ongoing monitoring.

• Collaborate with sales and banking teams to ensure regulatory compliance and smooth onboarding processes.

• Perform background checks and risk assessments to support compliance requirements.

• Utilize compliance software such as Purple Trac, World-Check, or Komgo for due diligence activities.

• Maintain updated knowledge of regulatory policies affecting the Oil & Gas trading sector across the MENA region.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in the Oil & Gas trading industry, with exposure to clients in the MENA region.

• Familiarity with client onboarding procedures and working with UAE banks.

• Experience with compliance software like Purple Trac, World-Check, or Komgo.

• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks relevant to UAE and international markets.
