Job Purpose:
As a Commi – Hot Kitchen, you will support the Head Chef and kitchen team in daily food preparation and culinary operations. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and kitchen safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Demi Chef de Partie and Chef de Partie with culinary operations of assigned section

• Prepare food items as per recipe and instructions from senior staff

• Ensure proper hygiene, food safety, and licensing standards are maintained

• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work station

• Adhere to all company hygiene and safety procedures

• Properly date and store food items to preserve quality

• Help control food costs by minimizing waste and breakage

• Support other kitchen sections when short-staffed or during peak operations

• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen flow

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within a reputable F&B property

• Energetic and self-motivated personality

• Willingness to work in a multicultural and fast-paced environment

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Result-oriented with a strong work ethic
