Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly capable Associate General Counsel to join our legal team in Dubai. You will play a pivotal role in supporting OKX’s operations in the UAE and broader GCC region, providing legal counsel across a wide range of areas including regulatory compliance, corporate governance, product development, and strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise internal stakeholders on a variety of legal matters, including product launches, HR/employment, corporate governance, contract negotiations, litigation, and compliance

• Support OKX’s licensing efforts, regulatory engagement, and the creation of internal policies

• Analyze new and existing digital assets for legal and regulatory risks

• Collaborate with business and product teams to align legal strategy with company goals

• Manage external legal counsel on civil or regulatory litigation as needed

• Handle legal components of subsidiary governance, board and shareholder documentation, and filing obligations

• Provide strategic legal input on cross-functional initiatives and business growth in the GCC region

Qualifications:

• Law degree and licensed to practice as an advocate

• Based in Dubai, UAE

• 3–10 years of experience in a top law firm or in-house legal team, preferably in the crypto or financial services industry

• Familiarity with UAE financial regulations (e.g., VARA, ESCA) and global crypto compliance frameworks

• Experience handling contracts, cross-jurisdictional issues, and multi-functional teams

• Strong legal writing, negotiation, and analytical skills

• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth, multicultural environment

• Deep interest or working knowledge in cryptocurrency, blockchain, and digital assets
