Outlier is seeking talented Cantonese Chinese (Hong Kong) writing experts to support the training of generative AI models. This is a freelance, remote-based opportunity with flexible hours, ideal for those who are passionate about language, writing, and technology.

You’ll be helping shape the next generation of AI by contributing to writing-based projects in Cantonese (Hong Kong variant).

Responsibilities:

• Participate in writing tasks conducted in Cantonese (Hong Kong).

• Help train generative AI models by completing assignments such as:

  • Ranking AI-generated responses based on quality.

  • Writing short stories on given topics.

  • Evaluating factual accuracy of AI-generated content.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory):

• Professional translator (Cantonese/English)

• Completed or enrolled in a degree program in humanities, creative writing, or a related field

• Experience in professional writing such as:

  • Copywriting

  • Journalism

  • Technical writing

  • Editing or content creation

Compensation & Working Terms:

• Rate: Up to $22.5 USD/hour

• Duration: Based on project length (flexible hours)

• Work Style: 100% remote, weekly payments
