SARI Global is seeking a highly skilled Climate Change Advisor / Consultant to provide technical expertise and advisory support on climate change, resilience, and environmental issues. This consultancy-based, remote role involves working closely with the Lead Researcher to design training materials, deliver technical sessions, and ensure that gender, inclusion, and conflict sensitivity are integrated into all project outputs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise on climate change adaptation, mitigation, and resilience.

• Contribute to the design of training curricula and capacity-building materials.

• Co-develop and deliver training sessions with the Lead Researcher.

• Draft at least one technical case study or best practices paper based on experience.

• Offer advisory input and technical reviews of project outputs.

• Share samples of previous work (reports, training materials, analyses) as part of application.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Advanced degree in Climate Studies, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Policy, or related fields.

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in climate change, adaptation/mitigation, or environmental consultancy.

• Proven experience in training delivery, curriculum development, and capacity building.

• Familiarity with climate advocacy processes and policy frameworks.

• Demonstrated ability to integrate gender and social inclusion into projects.

• Strong English and Arabic communication and writing skills.
