ESM – Events and Sports Management, a leading sports event company based in Dubai, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Aquatics Events Lead to oversee the technical and operational delivery of swimming competitions across the UAE. The role involves leading the planning, setup, and flawless execution of aquatic events to ensure a professional and positive experience for all participants.

You will be responsible for managing event equipment and software such as Meet Management software and Automated Officiating Equipment (AOE), supervising the technical team, coordinating with officials and venues, and ensuring all events comply with organizational and safety standards. This position requires excellent leadership, communication skills, and a passion for sports management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of all ESM & Hamilton Aquatics swimming events and competitions.

• Manage the setup, operation, and breakdown of event management software and officiating systems, troubleshooting any technical issues.

• Mentor and supervise Events Assistants, delegating tasks and ensuring high performance.

• Collaborate with the Events Manager to maintain safety regulations and administrative support.

• Handle high-level inquiries and represent ESM & Hamilton Aquatics professionally.

• Identify and implement improvements in event processes to enhance quality and efficiency.

• Work closely with senior management to align events with strategic goals.

Required Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications:

• Degree in Sports Science or related field.

• 2-3 years experience in aquatics or swimming event management.

• Proficient with Hy-Tek software, Meet Mobile, and AOE systems.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in relationship management, negotiation, financial acumen, risk assessment, and problem-solving.

• Knowledge of the sports industry and regional market contacts.
