ENGIE Solutions Middle East is hiring an MEP Supervisor in Dubai to oversee day-to-day mechanical maintenance operations, ensure preventive maintenance schedules, manage personnel deployment, and promote safety and compliance within mechanical systems. The role requires hands-on leadership and coordination with multiple departments to ensure high facility availability and system efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Maintenance:

Supervise and coordinate mechanical maintenance operations.

Plan and execute preventive maintenance tasks and fault rectification.
-
Prepare and issue work orders, ensuring task quality and timely completion.
-
Develop and propose improvements to increase plant availability and equipment efficiency.

Monitor tools, equipment, and materials for proper usage and availability.
Technical Oversight:
-
Ensure all work complies with mechanical standards, laws, and regulations.
-
Contribute to commissioning and training for new or modified systems.
-
Provide technical guidance to field teams and maintenance personnel.
-
Support cargo securing and outgoing transport coordination.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):
-
Enforce safety, fire, and environmental protection measures during maintenance activities.

Conduct regular inspections to identify hazards or operational inefficiencies.

Report and address safety deficiencies and ensure safe handling of hazardous substances.
People Management:
-
Supervise and mentor maintenance staff.
-
Monitor job performance including attendance, productivity, and adherence to procedures.

Ensure compliance with labor regulations and working conditions.

Support training and upskilling of the team in alignment with company standards.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Facility Management or a related technical field.

5–7 years of experience in a similar role within the GCC.
Skills Required:
-
Strong knowledge of international maintenance standards.
-
Expertise in valve operations and heavy lifting procedures.
-
Strong decision-making and leadership capabilities.
-
Effective under pressure (breakdowns, shutdowns).
-
Excellent communication, planning, and team coordination skills.
-
Must be certified in basic safety courses (e.g., confined space entry, radiation safety).
