Position: Accounts Payable Manager

Salary: AED 8,000 per month (all-inclusive) + benefits as per UAE Labour Law

About the Role:
A leading transportation and services group in Dubai is looking for an experienced and detail-driven Accounts Payable Manager to take ownership of the payables function across its group entities. This role is ideal for a finance professional with a strong background in accounting controls, intercompany transactions, and payroll entries, who is fluent in Arabic and familiar with UAE VAT laws.

You will play a key role in managing vendor payments, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting audits and compliance efforts. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable, growing company with a collaborative culture and diverse operational structure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire accounts payable process, from invoice review to final payment.

• Post monthly payroll journal entries in coordination with HR and payroll teams.

• Handle inter-company invoicing, reconciliation, and settlement across group businesses.

• Track and amortize prepaid expenses; manage month-end and year-end accruals.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and UAE VAT requirements.

• Liaise with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies.

• Provide documentation and schedules during internal and external audits.

• Assist in cash flow forecasting and generate periodic AP reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA/CA/ACCA preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable, ideally in a group company setup.

• In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and financial controls.

• Proficient in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Fluency in Arabic is mandatory.

• Candidates must be based in the UAE.
