Job Overview:

Skyview Arabia is seeking a Senior Façade Designer to lead the design, development, and delivery of advanced aluminum façade systems. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will work with architects, engineers, and clients to produce technically sound, aesthetically pleasing, and sustainable façade solutions for high-profile construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Development

• Lead façade system designs including curtain walls, unitized systems, stick systems, and custom aluminum solutions.

• Translate client and architectural visions into detailed, practical design deliverables.

• Produce technical drawings, specifications, 3D models, and system catalogues.

• Incorporate sustainable materials and methods in line with green building standards.

• Support R&D by developing new façade technologies and sharing knowledge internally.

Project Coordination

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design integration.

• Oversee project timelines, resources, and budgets for successful delivery.

Client Engagement

• Act as the lead contact for design queries and project presentations.

• Participate in client meetings and contribute to proposal submissions.

• Identify opportunities for business growth through design excellence and client satisfaction.

Compliance & Sustainability

• Ensure designs meet UAE and international building codes (e.g., LEED, Estidama).

• Integrate sustainable strategies such as energy-efficient glazing and solar shading.

• Keep abreast of evolving industry regulations and technologies.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.

• Master’s degree in Façade Engineering or related field (preferred).

Experience:

• 8–10 years in façade design, with a strong Middle East project portfolio.

• Expertise in aluminum façade systems and regional environmental challenges.

Technical Knowledge:

• Advanced knowledge of curtain walls, unitized and bespoke aluminum systems.

• Strong grasp of materials, installation techniques, and construction methodologies.

Software Proficiency:

• AutoCAD (2D/3D), Revit, Rhino, SolidWorks.

• Façade-specific software (e.g., SchüCal, LogiKal).

• BIM workflows and Microsoft Office Suite.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and within teams.

• High commercial awareness and passion for sustainable design.

Languages:

• Fluency in English (mandatory); Arabic is an advantage.

Work Conditions:

• On-site role based in Dubai (Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM).

• Occasional travel across UAE for site visits and client meetings.

• Adherence to company and UAE labor regulations.
