360 SMART LINGO is seeking experienced Yoruba Consecutive Interpreters to join our remote on-demand interpreting team. This independent contractor role involves over-the-phone and video remote interpreting, helping bridge communication gaps in a variety of professional settings by accurately interpreting spoken messages between Yoruba and English.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide consecutive interpretation during calls, interviews, meetings, and conferences.

• Accurately render messages from the source to the target language after brief pauses.

• Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity.

• Comply with 360 SL policies, HIPAA standards, and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of interpreting experience or 6000 hours of active interpretation (preferred).

• Fluency in Yoruba and English.

• Proof of English language proficiency (e.g., ILR rating or equivalent).

• Successful completion of Mock Call assessment.

• Criminal background check (in English).

• Up-to-date resume reflecting relevant experience.

• Reliable technical setup (headset, stable internet connection, and laptop).
