Saeed & Mohammed Al Naboodah Group is looking for a Workshop Supervisor for Heavy Vehicles to oversee and ensure smooth operations within its commercial vehicles and heavy equipment workshops. This on-site, full-time role focuses on managing workflow, maintaining high-quality standards, supporting technicians, and implementing safe and efficient practices across the workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

• Allocate work based on skills, urgency, and operational constraints.

• Monitor work progress and ensure quality standards are met.

• Assess additional work requirements, estimate costs and time, and inform Service Advisors.

• Provide technical support and guidance to technicians.

• Review parts requests and coordinate with the parts department.

• Optimize equipment usage and minimize waste of consumables.

• Participate in testing vehicles with complex diagnostic issues.

• Ensure workshop safety and cleanliness, and check equipment storage and condition.

• Coordinate with the Service Manager for warranty approvals.

• Evaluate technician performance and maintain records.

• Lead and motivate the workforce to achieve QHSEMS objectives and targets.

• Liaise with the Sales Department on PDIs, stock, and deliveries.

• Implement environmentally friendly and safe practices in all work areas.

• Perform tasks in compliance with the company’s QHSEMS and assigned responsibilities.

• Carry out additional tasks assigned by the line manager within qualifications and ability.

Qualifications & Education:

• Diploma in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years in a similar role within a heavy vehicles workshop.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Fluent in English; working knowledge of Hindi/Urdu; Arabic is an advantage.

• Computer literate.

• Valid driving license.
