GEMS Founders School in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Whole School Coach to join their team from August 2025. This leadership position will focus on improving teaching and learning standards across the school. The coach will assist the Principal and Leadership Team in school management and contribute to the development of teaching practices through coaching, mentoring, and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Principal and Leadership Team in school management and improvement.

• Oversee the delivery of an outstanding educational experience at the school.

• Drive teaching and learning across the school, with a focus on personalized learning strategies for all students.

• Provide individualized coaching and classroom-centered training for teachers, demonstrating research-based instructional strategies.

• Offer professional development through team teaching, lesson modeling, and PD sessions.

• Monitor and improve the quality of learning through classroom observations, lesson plans, and work scrutiny.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Lead efforts to monitor and improve teaching quality across all school departments.

• Support staff in curriculum planning and assessment.

• Ensure adherence to school policies, curriculum schemes, and assessment standards.

• Act as a mentor for newly appointed staff and guide supply teachers.

• Promote home/school partnership and lead parent sessions and school events.

• Manage school resources and contribute to the financial management of specific areas.

Skills & Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Experience with the UK National Curriculum.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Solution-focused attitude and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• A commitment to student welfare and academic achievement.

• Knowledge of Emirati, world cultures, and Islamic values.
