Sofitel Dubai The Palm is seeking a dedicated Waiter/Waitress for their In-Room Dining service. The role involves taking food and beverage orders, delivering them promptly to guest rooms, and ensuring a high standard of service and guest satisfaction. This position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take food and beverage orders from guests via phone or in person.

• Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms promptly, ensuring accuracy and presentation.

• Set up and clear dining areas in guest rooms, maintaining cleanliness.

• Handle guest complaints or special requests professionally.

• Maintain knowledge of the menu, including specials and dietary needs.

• Process guest payments and handle transactions (cash/credit card).

• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.

• Ensure proper setup of trays, carts, and room service equipment.

• Restock and replenish room service items as needed.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the room service area.

• Assist with preparing condiments, utensils, and beverages for service.

• Ensure guest satisfaction and encourage feedback.

• Uphold hotel safety, hygiene, and food safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in food service (room service experience preferred).

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Physical Requirements:
