Kitopi is seeking a customer-focused Waiter to deliver exceptional dining experiences to guests. This full-time, on-site role involves greeting and serving guests, managing orders, ensuring food and beverage presentation standards, and maintaining a clean dining environment. The ideal candidate will combine excellent service skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure, ensuring each guest enjoys a warm and welcoming experience that aligns with Kitopi’s standards.

Job Responsibilities:

Guest Service

• Greet guests promptly, courteously, and professionally.

• Present menus, explain dishes, and offer recommendations as needed.

• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff.

• Serve food and drinks according to timing and presentation standards.

• Address guest requests and concerns in a friendly and timely manner.

Operational Duties

• Set up tables with appropriate silverware, napkins, and condiments before service.

• Keep the dining area clean and organized throughout the shift.

• Clear and reset tables efficiently.

• Operate POS systems for payments and receipts.

• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.

Teamwork & Communication

• Collaborate with kitchen, bar, and floor staff for smooth service.

• Communicate guest requests and dietary requirements to relevant staff.

• Assist colleagues during busy periods to maintain service quality.

Skills & Requirements:

• Prior experience as a waiter/waitress or in customer service (preferred).

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Good memory and attention to detail.

• Ability to multitask and remain calm in high-pressure situations.
