VP – Private Equity

Charterhouse is working with a diversified local group seeking an experienced VP or Principal to join their Direct Investments Team. This newly established team is dedicated to private market investments, aiming to enhance portfolio diversification.

As VP – Private Equity, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Investments, playing a key role in developing investment strategies and executing deals. The role covers the entire deal lifecycle, including origination, execution, and portfolio management of existing assets. The team manages a wide range of transactions, such as Primary, Secondary, Mezzanine, and LBO deals, providing exposure to global markets across various sectors.

This position is ideal for a generalist investor who prefers broad market exposure over a highly specialized mandate. Additionally, the VP will have a crucial role in strategy implementation, contributing to the long-term vision and direction of the investment team.

Key Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in private market transactions.

• Investment Banking (IB) training is highly preferred.

• Strong regional deal experience, combined with international exposure, particularly across Europe and/or North America.
