Role Overview:
As a Voice Actor for AI Training, you will record short conversations conveying a variety of emotions, accents, and speech modulations. You will also review recordings, edit scripts, and ensure high-quality audio production, playing a vital role in improving machine-learning models’ ability to interpret natural human interactions.

Responsibilities:

• Record short voice conversations conveying diverse emotions and speaking styles.

• Review, edit, and provide feedback on your own and others’ recordings.

• Maintain high-quality audio standards using professional recording equipment.

• Review and edit scripts to ensure natural flow and accuracy.

• Manage and organize audio files using Audacity or equivalent software.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

• Native fluency in Chinese.

• Ability to express a wide range of emotions and modulate voice effectively.

• Access to a quiet recording environment free of background noise.

• High-fidelity microphone and home recording setup.

• Experience in voice-related work (e.g., voiceover acting, podcasting, audio narration).

Nice to Have:

• Background in acting (on-stage or on-screen), classical voice training, or vocal music.

• Access to an audio interface device for superior recording quality.

Experience:

• Prior experience in any voice-related work is strongly preferred.

• This is a 1099 freelance/contract role on the Outlier.ai platform.
