VaporVM is hiring an experienced Infrastructure Engineer / VMware Administrator to manage and maintain a hybrid infrastructure spanning on-premises Microsoft systems and Azure cloud environments. You will be responsible for provisioning, supporting, and optimizing critical systems including virtualization platforms, enterprise storage clusters, and cloud resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Microsoft Windows Servers and Hyper-V clusters

• Administer Azure Stack Hub and hybrid cloud operations

• Provision and manage Azure services, including:

  • Entra ID

  • Virtual Networks, VMs, Storage Accounts, Azure ARC & Intune

  • Azure Subscriptions

• Maintain and support enterprise storage environments:

  • IBM Storage Cluster

  • Pure Storage Cluster

  • VxRail

• Monitor infrastructure using PRTG:

  • Cluster updates

  • Sensor and probe management

  • Fixing or configuring sensors

Required Experience & Skills:

• 5–7 years experience in infrastructure engineering, system/cloud administration

• Deep knowledge of:

  • Microsoft Windows Server

  • Azure Cloud & Stack Hub

  • Virtualization via Hyper-V

  • Enterprise storage systems

  • Infrastructure monitoring (PRTG)

• Proven skills in troubleshooting, system monitoring, documentation, and team collaboration

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Preferred Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

• Certifications in cloud services, infrastructure monitoring, or enterprise storage
