Liva Insurance UAE is seeking a Health Underwriter to join its team in Dubai. This role is key to ensuring accurate evaluation of health insurance applications, risk assessment, and policy compliance in line with UAE insurance regulations. The successful candidate will collaborate with medical professionals and internal teams to provide reliable, customer-focused insurance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate health insurance applications to determine eligibility and risk level.

• Assess medical history, reports, and related documents to make informed underwriting decisions.

• Determine suitable coverage options and premium rates.

• Ensure compliance with UAE insurance laws, regulations, and company policies.

• Maintain accurate and organized underwriting records and documentation.

• Collaborate with medical professionals, agents, and stakeholders to gather necessary information.

• Assist in the development and refinement of underwriting policies and procedures.

• Contribute to process improvements and ensure high service quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business, or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of medical underwriting and health insurance principles.

• Experience in evaluating applications and determining coverage.

• Proficiency in analyzing medical and insurance documentation.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• High attention to detail with strong organizational abilities.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Relevant underwriting certification preferred.

• Prior experience in the UAE insurance market is a strong advantage.
