Allot, a global leader in network security and visibility, is seeking a UDX Signature Developer to join their team in Ajman, UAE. The role focuses on developing network traffic signatures, analyzing network behavior, and collaborating with engineers and clients to ensure security solutions are accurate, efficient, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and write signatures for monitoring and blocking application network activity.

• Research application behavior to identify unique traffic characteristics.

• Test signatures for accuracy, stability, and performance; analyze PCAP traces and logs.

• Reduce false positives and improve detection efficiency.

• Collaborate directly with clients and internal teams to support deployment and troubleshooting.

• Maintain internal documentation and testing methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of network protocols (Ethernet, IP, TCP, UDP, HTTP/S, DNS, TLS/SSL).

• Proficiency in network traffic analysis tools (Wireshark, tcpdump).

• Experience working in Linux environments and command line usage.

• Knowledge of DPI, application identification, and Layer 7 filtering.

• Willingness to work shifts, participate in on-call rotation, including weekends.

• Conversational English and Arabic.

Preferred / Plus Skills:

• Knowledge of Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.

• Understanding of DevSecOps principles and CI/CD processes.

• Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, RHSCA.
