From the majestic Victoria Falls to the plains of the Maasai Mara and the serene beaches of Zanzibar, Mama Afrique specializes in creating bespoke itineraries that bring the culture, beauty, and diversity of Africa to life.

As a Travel Consultant, you will assist clients with planning and booking flights, accommodations, visas, and tours. This role requires strong destination knowledge, customer service skills, and a sales-driven mindset to deliver seamless travel experiences while meeting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult with clients to understand travel needs, preferences, and budgets

• Research and recommend travel packages, destinations, and services

• Book flights, hotels, transportation, and travel insurance

• Provide visa guidance and ensure compliance with travel regulations

• Handle client inquiries, complaints, and emergencies with professionalism

• Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and client profiles

• Collaborate with suppliers to secure competitive rates and offers

• Meet monthly sales targets and earn commission on bookings

• Stay updated on travel trends, advisories, and destination insights

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in travel consultancy, tourism, or events

• Knowledge of GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre) preferred but not mandatory

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Customer-focused with a strong sales mindset

• Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)

• Familiarity with UAE visa processes and travel regulations

• Degree or certification in Travel, Tourism, or Hospitality is preferred
