Dubai Air Navigation Services, through Dubai Careers – A Smart Dubai Initiative, is seeking UAE Nationals for the position of Trainee – Air Traffic Controller. The selected candidates will undergo specialized training to qualify as Air Traffic Control Officers, ensuring safe and efficient management of air traffic operations in Dubai. This is a full-time training program with mandatory assessments and examinations to be successfully completed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake training and familiarization to become a certified Air Traffic Control Officer.

• Successfully complete all required assessments, exams, and qualifications.

• Gain hands-on experience to manage and monitor aircraft movements safely and efficiently.

• Follow regulations, guidelines, and aviation safety standards throughout the training.

Requirements:

• Must be a UAE National holding a family book (Khalasat Al Qaid).

• Age between 19–27 years at the start of training.

• Minimum high school certificate with English, Maths, and preferably Physics.

• Proficiency in English: IELTS band 5.5+ or EmSAT-English score 1250+ (or equivalent).

• Medically fit to pass a GCAA Level 3 medical examination.

• Male applicants must have completed national service or provide a military exception letter.

• Required documents: CV, Passport Copy, IELTS/EmSAT Certificate, Military exception letter (if applicable).
