Job Title: Trading Operations Specialist

Job Description:
Charterhouse is working with a fast-growing company specializing in Commodity Trading and Strategic Investments based in JLT, Dubai. As their operations expand, they are looking to hire an experienced Trading Operations Specialist to enhance efficiency and standards within the trade process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Head of Trading in managing end-to-end trade operations for crude oil and petroleum products.
• Oversee cargo and finance documentation, including invoices, customs declarations, letters of credit, and trade contracts.
• Ensure accurate trade booking, reconciliation, and reporting to maintain compliance and efficiency.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure all trade operations adhere to regulatory standards.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, receivers, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless trade execution.
• Collaborate with traders and shipping teams to coordinate logistics and trade execution in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market regulations, financial instruments, and risk management practices in commodity trading.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in trade operations, preferably within crude oil or petroleum trading (other commodity trading backgrounds will be considered).
• Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders while maintaining accuracy in trade documentation.
• Excellent knowledge of trade finance, documentation, and risk management in commodity trading.
• Fluency in multiple languages is preferred to facilitate communication with stakeholders across Europe and Asia.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in trade management systems and reporting tools.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced trading environment.
