Responsibilities:

• Oversee technical processes and equipment (mixers, cookers, enrobers, etc.)

• Implement improvements to increase efficiency and quality

• Ensure compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, ISO, GMP)

• Lead technical staff, maintenance team, and contractor interactions

• Handle technical documentation, SOPs, and maintenance logs

• Introduce automation, energy-saving systems, and digital controls

• Work closely with R&D, QA, and planning teams for new product launches

• Manage government regulatory communications (e.g., Trakhees, DEWA)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation Engineering, or similar

• 5+ years experience in food industry (preferably confectionery)

• Strong knowledge of confectionery production (chocolate, caramel, gummies, baked goods)

• Industrial refrigeration and cooling systems experience is a big plus

• Skilled in SCADA/PLC systems, ERP/MES software

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills

• High discipline, self-organization, and stress management
