Schneider Electric is seeking a skilled Technical Leader to join their Digital Power Application Centre (DPAC) in Dubai, contributing to Global Customer Projects and Services (GCP & SO). This role is vital for executing energy automation projects across Oil & Gas, Utility, and Data Centre sectors in the Gulf region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the execution of customer project deliveries with the support of design and system engineers.

• Manage all phases of the project from tender handover to final technical closure, including design, procurement, validation, testing, and commissioning.

• Collaborate with project management and coordinate with Level-3 & 4 technical support teams.

• Ensure quality, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness of all project deliverables.

• Develop and validate innovative system architectures and technical applications.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronics & Communication Engineering.

• 5–10 years of experience in energy automation, with at least 3 years in Gulf-based projects.

• Strong understanding of protection IEDs, energy meters, and power quality systems.

• Site testing, commissioning, and project closure experience is essential.

• Knowledge in OT cybersecurity (IEC 62443) is a plus.

Technical Expertise:

• Electrical substation automation with SCADA, PLC, and data concentrators (IEC 61850, Modbus).

• Network switch configurations: Hirschman, CISCO, protocols like PRP, RSTP, HSR, VLAN.

• Designing complex automation systems with servers, switches, gateways, firewalls.

• Real-time load analysis, load shedding, and generator/load management.

• Familiarity with Schneider Electric’s Ecostruxure, EPAS, EPO, and EBO solutions.

• Python scripting, AI integration, and digital transformation knowledge are advantageous.

Preferred Attributes:

• Strong leadership and customer-centric mindset.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience in building management systems (BMS) for data centres and critical infrastructure.

• Arabic language skills and a valid GCC driving license are beneficial.
