Technical Assistant / Personal Assistant

SEE Institute is seeking a Technical Assistant / Personal Assistant (PA) to support the Vice President’s Office and provide coordination for the PRME Chapter Middle East (hosted by SEE Institute). This role blends executive support, technical expertise, and project coordination, ensuring smooth operations across administrative, technical, and sustainability-related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Executive & Administrative Support

  • Provide day-to-day support to the Vice President and Provost, including scheduling, correspondence, and documentation.

  • Organize meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes, and track action items.

  • Manage filing systems, reporting, and office records.

  • Handle travel, logistics, and protocol arrangements.

  • Support PRME Chapter ME with administrative tasks.

Technical & Project Support

  • Assist in preparing, reviewing, and formatting technical reports, contracts, and presentations.

  • Coordinate academic modules, workshops, and events under the VP’s supervision.

  • Maintain records of institutional activities and ongoing projects.

  • Support PRME Chapter ME activities such as event planning, signatory coordination, and reporting.

Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as liaison between the VP’s office, internal departments, and external stakeholders.

  • Draft reports, professional correspondence, and presentations.

  • Support the Events office in organizing conferences, workshops, and promotional activities.

  • Coordinate engagement with holding companies, partner institutions, and PRME signatory members.

PRME Chapter ME Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordinating PRME Chapter activities, meetings, and initiatives.

  • Maintain communication with signatory members and support SIP (Sharing Information on Progress) workshops.

  • Manage Chapter documentation, databases, and reporting.

  • Update and manage PRME Chapter ME website and LinkedIn page with news, events, and initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Environmental Studies, or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • 2–3 years’ experience in executive assistance, administrative coordination, or project support.

  • Background in higher education, research institutes, NGOs, or sustainability organizations is desirable.

  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.

  • Excellent English communication (Arabic is an asset).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital collaboration tools (Teams, Zoom, etc.).

  • Knowledge of sustainability, ESG, or PRME principles is an advantage.

  • Skilled in drafting professional documents, event coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
